Overview
Given that cash flow is the lifeblood of a Contractor’s ability to carry out works under any Construction Project, a sound understanding of options in the event non-payment is crucial. These range from the most prominent avenue for expedited payment in Security of Payment Act Adjudication to more drastic avenues such as Arbitration & Litigation. With the aid of local case law, relevant statutory rules and practical considerations, this session seeks to provide up-to-date insights on the various remedies available to Contractors in the event that payment is withheld.
