The workshop will be clearly exemplified with current crane incidents and used them as examples to provide required skill and knowledge to execute a crane recovery plan.

Speaker Profile

MR. JASON HENG

Mr. Jason Heng, Bachelor in Environmental, Health and Safety (University of Newcastle) Jason is currently managing his own WSH consultancy firm and also conducting freelance training for various ATPs including SCAL Academy. His scope of work includes acting as Appointed Person for crane recovery, trainer for Appointed Person Course by IES, trainer for Lifting Supervisor Safety Course, Rigger/Signalman, Work-at-Height Supervisor and Building Construction Supervisor Safety.

 

Jason also works as a WSH Officer in the construction industry for the last 10 over years before moving to a local-listed crane company. During his 7 years of employment in the crane company, he gradually rose to become their Group HSE Manager and eventually as a General Manager for their tower crane division. He has previously participated as a member in the Mobile and Tower Crane Workgroup organised by the Ministry of Manpower, and was also a member of the National Crane Taskforce jointly helmed by Ministry of Manpower and Workplace Safety and Health Council for two terms from year 2009 – year 2013.

Certification

An e-Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participant who complete the course with 100% attendance. 

 

Replacement/Postponement

A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before course commencement. A charge of S$50 (replacement) or S$100 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes. 

 

Cancellation

A notice of cancellation must be given at least 3 working days before commencement of the course and 50% of course fee will be charged /returned. If notice is given less than 3 working days before the first day of the course, there will be no refund/100% charged.
