Background
Effective from 1st Apr 2016, Employment Act mandate employers to issue written employment contract with all key employment terms and issue itemized pay slip to all employees. This workshop gives employer and employee a good understanding of the benefits of the terms and the basic principle of Employment Act, have a detailed understanding of the 18 key employment terms (KET) and the 12 items of the itemized Pay Slip accordance with the TAFEP’s guidelines. Participants also get the opportunity to explore the appropriate application of these employment terms under different employment conditions.

Understand and apply the Key Employment Terms (KET) in the Employment Contract.
Understand and issue the itemized Pay Slip.

Speaker Profile
Mr C.J Low is currently a workshop trainer as well as an associate consultant with Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI). To date, Mr C.J Low has more than 20 years of experience in people management and people development in the Cleaning, Engineering Construction and Manufacturing Industry. Before further pursuant of his degree, Mr C.J Low holds a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and is henceforth able to provide laser-liked solutions to organizational problems from both the ‘hard’ (systems and technology) and ‘soft’ (people and group behaviors) perspectives. Armed with a Professional Certificate in Designing & Facilitating Experiential Learning from the Singapore Training and Development Association (STDA), Mr Low has a wealth of experiences in delivering experiential learning that impacts work performance. Mr C.J Low holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (HRM) from La Trobe University, Australia. In addition, Mr Low’s training and facilitation skills are evidenced from his professional qualification in Industrial Trainer Certificate awarded by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and a Diploma in Training & Development Management from Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). He is also certified in Lean Sigma Management, 5S Housekeeping and Internal System Auditor

An e-Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participant who complete the course with 100% attendance.
Replacement/Postponement
A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before course commencement. A charge of S$50 (replacement) or S$100 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes.
Cancellation
A notice of cancellation must be given at least 3 working days before commencement of the course and 50% of course fee will be charged /returned. If notice is given less than 3 working days before the first day of the course, there will be no refund/100% charged.
