Background
Construction sector has been the top contributor of workplace fatal injuries with around 40% of the total fatal injuries over the past 10 years in Singapore. It is critical for every stakeholder of the workplaces to have an understanding on the hazards involved in the construction workplace and implement appropriate risk control measures to minimize the risk. Proper planning and execution of work activities are critical to prevent incompatible hazardous activities from being carried out at the same time, as construction works involve many trades working at the same time in the same place.
