Remedies for Non-Payment

Navigating Options for Expedited Payment and Dispute Resolution in the Event of Non-Payment

Overview

Given that cash flow is the lifeblood of a Contractor’s ability to carry out works under any Construction Project, a sound understanding of options in the event non-payment is crucial. These range from the most prominent avenue for expedited payment in Security of Payment Act Adjudication to more drastic avenues such as Arbitration & Litigation.
