Mastering Virtual Collaboration and Clash Detection in BIM Projects

 

Course Description

The BIM Coordination process is the key enabler of virtual collaboration of BIM models and building data across disciplines. This course offers a practical guide on conducting BIM coordination using Navisworks software. Trainees will learn hands-on how to combine interdisciplinary BIM models, conduct clash detection, and document their findings for reports. The course will also highlight good practices and common issues experienced in coordinating BIM projects at the design and construction stages. The trainee should be able to confidently participate in BIM project coordination by the end of the module.

Speaker Profile

Y.A. Moe

Y.A. Moe has worked at several leading design consultancies handling large and complex BIM projects for the past 9 years. He is currently an Autodesk Certified Instructor who enjoy teaching BIM software Revit and Navisworks at an advanced level. He is also a proficient user of Revizto, BIM360 Field and BIM360 Glue. His teaching experience included conducting the SILA BIM Masterclass for Landscape Architects in 2018. He graduated with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modeling at BCA Academy in 2012.

Certification

An e-Certificate of Completion will be issued to participant who complete the course with 80% attendance. 

 

Replacement/Postponement

A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before course commencement. A charge of S$50 (replacement) or S$100 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes. 

 

Cancellation

A notice of cancellation must be given at least 3 working days before commencement of the course and 50% of course fee will be charged /returned. If notice is given less than 3 working days before the first day of the course, there will be no refund/100% charged.
