Our Design for Safety (DfS) course for Professionals, Managers, and Executives (PMEs) offers in-depth knowledge on the WSH (DfS) Regulations 2015 and their application. Expanding on the initial half-day “Sensible DfS” course, this comprehensive one-day course covers the entire building lifecycle from design to demolition, helping participants understand critical DfS regulations and proactive risk management.
This course is ideal for PMEs involved with developers, designers, contractors, and property owners who seek a thorough understanding of safety and health considerations throughout a building or structure’s life cycle. Key learning components include:
1. WSH (DfS) Regulations 2015
2. Guidelines on Design for Safety in Buildings and Structures
3. Code of Practice on WSH Risk Management
To address current health concerns, the course incorporates a case study on managing infection risks, drawing on lessons from the 2003 SARS outbreak in Hong Kong and the recent Covid-19 outbreak from 2019 to 2022.
