Overview
This workshop provides good first aid practice in the industrial sectors. It deals with the practical aspect of the first aid technique on various types of bandaging including roller bandage, triangular bandage and the like, in a simple style, orientated towards solving problems that first aiders or members of the industry may encounter when called upon to offer help in an emergency. It also serves as refresher training for those who had attained Occupational First Aid certificates. The workshop is customized to the needs of the company who requires hands-on skills related to their industry.
Objective
To enable trainees to acquire the necessary first aid practical skills to better manage injuries

The theoretical aspects of the course will be clearly exemplified with real-life experiences and examples. Similarly, such experiences are shared and used to illustrate the skills needed for first aid management.
The practical aspects are in the areas of roller bandaging, triangular bandaging & immobilization of fracture.

Speaker Profile
Mr Lim Hock Chye
Mr Lim is a registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board, Ministry of Health and an approved Occupational First Aid trainer with the Ministry of Manpower. He also holds the WDA Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (Full ACTA). Mr Lim Hock Chye has been a freelance lecturer with the various Approved Training Providers. He has taught in various fields in first aid training such as standard first aid, occupational first aid, child first aid, and home first aid, just to name a few. He is involved work related to in-house refresher first aid training and emergency response in his workplace. In terms of continuing education for adult learners, he specializes in WSQ and other WSH training courses including fire safety awareness, level A & B WSH certificate courses at the approved training providers.

An e-Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participant who complete the course with 100% attendance.
Replacement/Postponement
A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before course commencement. A charge of S$50 (replacement) or S$100 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes.
Cancellation
A notice of cancellation must be given at least 3 working days before commencement of the course and 50% of course fee will be charged /returned. If notice is given less than 3 working days before the first day of the course, there will be no refund/100% charged.
