A Construction Practitioner of 40 years with knowledge and experience in contract solutions and project management.
For the last 30 years, had served as mediator in over 100 construction, building quality, contract, MCST, insurance claim, tenancy, land cum property, business venture, consumer-related and community & family relations related disputes, including large complex cases involving parties from private and public sectors, foreigners and locals and complicated multi-party disputes. Cases mediated also include complex multi-million dollars disputes regarding contract and construction claims mainly with lawyers’ representation of the parties and at time parties were aided by experts of various disciplines. Majority of mediations were conducted in English language but for the benefit of the parties, had conducted mediations in Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese.
From first Quarter of 2020, the advent of the pandemic COVID-19, Kok Eng embarked on On-line Mediation having gained popularity besides majority of Mediations are still conducted by him face-to-face.
Kok Eng is a Trainer, Coach, Assessor, Reviewer, Mentor, Seminar Speaker, Webinar Speaker (local and global) and Contributor of Articles on Mediation. Kok Eng had been interviewed several times by MediaCorp on the topic of Mediation.
Kok Eng sits in the panel of Principal Mediator of SMC (Singapore Mediation Centre), Principal Mediator of SCMC (Singapore Construction Mediation Centre, a Subsidiary Company of SCAL), Master Mediator of CMC (Community Mediation Centre handling Community, Magistrate and CDRT cases), Tribunals Mediator for TMP (Tribunals for Maintenance of Parents), Founding Member of CASE Panel of Mediators and Consumer Mediator of CASE (Consumers Association of Singapore), Mediator of SISV (Singapore Institute of Surveyor and Valuers), Mediator of iiM (International Institute of Mediators), Court Mediator of Small Claims Tribunal (Retired after 15 years), Commercial Mediator of IIAM (Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation) and Mediator of AIAC (Asian International Arbitration Centre – Malaysia).

Replacement/Postponement
A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before course commencement. A charge of S$50 (replacement) or S$100 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes.
Cancellation
A notice of cancellation must be given at least 3 working days before commencement of the course and 50% of course fee will be charged /returned. If notice is given less than 3 working days before the first day of the course, there will be no refund/100% charged.
