PWAH | WSQ Perform Work at Height is a mandatory course for individuals involved in hazardous work-at-height activities (3m and above). It provides essential training on fall prevention, equipment use, and compliance with WSH regulations. Participants will learn to perform work-at-height tasks safely and effectively, ensuring adherence to safety standards and legislation.
The Perform Work at Height course (PWAH), also known as the work at height - worker (WAH-W) course, is designed for individuals involved in work-at-height activities. This mandatory training course provides learners with the knowledge and skills to perform work-at-height activities safely and effectively in accordance with WSH regulations.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Perform checks before and after use of Work at Height (WAH) equipment
Perform proper use of WAH equipment in accordance to relevant legislation and guidelines, including evaluating use of fall arrest and fall prevention systems
Perform self-relief techniques during harness suspension trauma situations
The “Perform Work At Height” is a mandatory training course for all workers performing Work At Height in construction and other industry sectors.
Attendees must be physically fit
Attendees are assumed to have:
Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy level 3 and above
Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES Workplace Numeracy Level- Level 3 and above.

Participants MUST wear their own PPEs such as safety harness, helmets and safety boots / safety shoes for the practical lesson throughout the duration of the course. Those without PPEs will not be allowed to take the practical lesson or assessment.
Learners must be physically fit and able to climb up and down scaffold of 2 to 4 meter high.
SCAL would like to encourage prospective course participants to inform SCAL in advance of any special needs such as medical needs or difficulty in movement.
Replacement/Postponement
A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before course commencement. A charge of S$50 (replacement) or S$100 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes. Appeal of Assessment Result: (a) Students who wish to appeal for review of assessment results, please fill the Assessment Appeal Form that can be downloaded from website. There will be an admin fee of $60.00 (incl GST, non-refundable).
