Experience:
Mr. Kent, Ang Kiat Boon is currently working as Senior Manager, Projects in Resorts World Sentosa under the umbrella of the Construction Project Management department tasked to develop the hotels, casino, and resorts for RWS 2.0. He joined RWS in 2026 after he has TOP and settled his final account closure of his projects in 2025. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Singapore Management University, Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree from the Nanyang Technological University and is a Chartered Engineer (Engineering Project Management) from the Institute of Engineers, Singapore. Formally trained in MEP, Building Cost Measurement (QS) and Construction Engineering studies from the Building Control Authority Academy, the multi-faceted vigor of his training received together with his extensive track record of field experience allows him to manage and coordinate projects effectively by connecting the dots between the mechanical and electrical services with the structural works using BIM technologies to preserve the Architectural intent of the developments, as well as to balance the demands of the stakeholders to align with the contractual requirements of the projects. The style of management he practices, advocates negotiation, clarity and mostly importantly resolving disputes timely and settling final accounts amicably throughout his career without escalating to litigation. Earlier in his career, he worked as a site engineer in Singapore involving the construction of luxury condominiums and have worked for a period of time in Ho Chin Minh City to complete the development of Saigon Centre/Takashimaya project, his scope focusing on the coordination of interior design works in Vietnam. He later advanced to the position of General Manager in his previous career appointment, serving as the Employer’s Representative (ER) in the REDAS contract design and build project with NEA to complete the successful TOP in 2025 of the 1st Mechanical and Biological Plant (MBT) in Singapore and concurrently served as one of the Project Managers involved in the construction of Singapore Power, 1st Underground 230kV Substation in Labrador Park overseeing the successful interfacing and commissioning of the Electrical Transformers and Chill Water System works to TOP in 2025. His career works also encompasses him to travel regionally such as Japan and China to witness (FAT) Factory Acceptance Tests and for various business activities purposes. As an experienced senior manager and a seasoned adjunct lecturer in various training institutes, it is common for him to run into his students working alongside him during his course of career as he sees them graduate from their courses. Kent enjoys reading legal articles and in his free time, he is active in RWS corporate social responsibility work, serving as a volunteer in social services and community work.

Replacement/Postponement
A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before course commencement. A charge of S$50 (replacement) or S$100 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes.
Cancellation
A notice of cancellation must be given at least 3 working days before commencement of the course and 50% of course fee will be charged /returned. If notice is given less than 3 working days before the first day of the course, there will be no refund/100% charged.
