Chistopher Chuah is a leading construction and dispute resolution lawyer with over 30 years of experience in litigation, arbitration, and statutory adjudication. Recognised as one of Singapore’s top construction lawyers, he has acted in high-profile infrastructure and construction disputes across Asia, including power plants, transport infrastructure, and commercial developments.
He has chaired a Dispute Adjudication Board on a MYR 1 billion dispute for a power plant project in Malaysia and successfully represented clients in international arbitration cases in Thailand and Singapore. An accredited adjudicator under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2004 (SOP Act), he also serves as an arbitrator on the Main Panel of Arbitrators at SIAC and AIAC.
Christopher has been appointed as an arbitrator and committee member at the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Singapore) and also serves on the BICAM Panel of Arbitrators (2023-2026), further solidifying his role in international dispute resolution.
Beyond practice, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and currently President of the Chartered Institute of Building Singapore. His expertise is widely sought after, and he is a General Editor of the Singapore Construction Adjudication Review.
For his contributions, he has been recognised as a Thought Leader in Construction (Lexology 2024, previously Who’s Who Legal) and a Band 1 Construction Lawyer (Chambers Asia- Pacific 2015-2025).

Updates on Security of Payment Act

An e-Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participant who complete the course with 100% attendance.
Replacement/Postponement
A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before course commencement. A charge of S$50 (replacement) or S$100 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes.
Cancellation
A notice of cancellation must be given at least 3 working days before commencement of the course and 50% of course fee will be charged /returned. If notice is given less than 3 working days before the first day of the course, there will be no refund/100% charged.
