MLTS | WSH Micro-Learning Programme (Tech-Supported)

Micro Learning classes are fully self-paced with no fixed schedule. This course includes an optional assisted learning session conducted in person. During the session, we provide the equipment, technical support (logins, access, etc.), and a structured environment to help students focus on completing their modules.

Regardless of the date shown, you will receive your course access link within 1–3 days after booking. There is no expiry date to complete the Micro Learning modules. Attending the tech-supported session can help students complete the course more efficiently.

Tech-Supported

To ensure accessibility and smooth participation, the programme includes a tech-supported component.

This support provides:

1. Dedicated classroom facilities for workers who may not have access to suitable learning environments

2. Provision of tablets for completion of the online micro-learning modules

3. On-site technical assistance, including guided login support and troubleshooting of basic access issues

The Assisted Learning component is designed to remove technological barriers and support digital inclusion, ensuring that all participants can successfully complete the online training regardless of their familiarity with digital platforms.

*Important Note: The invigilator or assistant will not provide answers or academic assistance. Students are expected to complete the modules independently in a supervised, focused setting.

What is the difference between ML and MLTS?

When participants enroll in the ML Programme, they complete the course independently at their own pace within an 18-month access period.

In contrast, the Tech-Supported Programme (MLTS) places participants in a structured classroom environment. This setting allows them to focus fully on the programme without the usual distractions of their daily environment or the frustration of technical issues. Participants are guided and supported throughout the session and are often encouraged to complete the course on the same day.

Summary of both in the table below:

IMPORTANT NOTE

Micro Learning Certificates and the results uploaded to the MOM Training Record do not carry an expiry date. The 18-month validity applies only to the subscription period for the account login, which starts from the date the learner is officially issued the account login to complete the Micro Learning.

The completion date shown in TRS serves as a reference for SOC Training Providers to verify the following:

a)    Worker has completed the MLP prior to their first attempt at the SOC Recertification Assessment, so that SOC TP can register the Worker under the correct course code.
b)    Worker has completed the MLP (with the MLP date of completion being after the date of their first/previous SOC Recertification Assessment attempt) before they can be registered for their second attempt and onwards at the SOC Recertification Assessment.
