Identify duties and responsibilities of all personnel involved under the WSH Legislations and Code of Practice
Identify hazards
Use Gas Detection Instruments for atmospheric monitoring
Comply with Permit-to-Work system and safe work procedures when working
Participate in an Emergency Response
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
learners will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform the duties of an entrant and attendant when working in a confined space, use gas detection instruments and participate in an emergency situation.
This course is mandatory for ALL workers who must work in manholes and other confined spaces.

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
Have basic knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Know how to use basic PPE provided at workplace
Able to understand and communicate in language of instruction
Be able to follow written and oral work instructions
Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2
Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2

Replacement /Postponement
A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before course commencement. A charge of S$50 (replacement) or S$100 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes. Appeal of Assessment Result: (a) Students who wish to appeal for review of assessment results, please fill the Assessment Appeal Form that can be downloaded from website. There will be an admin fee of $60.00 (incl GST, non-refundable).
